Over the past decade, our travel designers and English-speaking guides have welcomed many guests from afar. What stays with them longest is rarely found on postcards — indigo-dyed calico drying in a rainy alley of Jiangnan, the steam rising from a morning market wok, or a bowl of tea offered by an elder in a mountain village.
Many people have seen countless images of China, yet have never truly met China. That is exactly what we set out to do: not rushing you from sight to sight, but bringing you into real life — to meet the people, hear their stories, and taste their everyday.
Joylocal was born in Guilin, rooted between the mountains and rivers of China. Our answer is simple — a genuine gateway to the real China for the world.
