The farthest destination, Dujiangyan, is a 1-hour one-way drive, with no long-distance transfers needed. [Climate & Packing Tips] Chengdu has a subtropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 16°C and high humidity. Please pack non-slip shoes, rain gear, and a light jacket for visits in spring, autumn, and winter; bring sun protection for summer trips.
